Q. Does insurance pay for these services?

A. Yes. Most health insurance plans pay for these services, including Medicare.  Check with your health insurance plan to see what your “outpatient” physical and/or occupational therapy benefits are.  Or, we would happy to contact them for you.

Q. Do I need to be “homebound” to qualify for the services?

A.  No. Our services are considered “outpatient”.  We do provide services to many individuals who are homebound but you do not need to be “homebound” to recieve our services.

Q. Why should I have therapy in my home?

A. Great question.  There are many reasons.  One is you don’t have to worry about transportation to the clinic for your appointment saving you time and money.  You will get personalized “one-on-one” treatment from a therapist the entire visit.  The therapist is able to help you precisley with the difficulties you are having where you spend most of your time . . . in your home.  You can feel safe and comfortable with therapy in an environment you are familiar with.

Q. How do I start getting therapy from At Home Therapy Services?

A. Have your doctor fax or send us a perscription for therapy, or call us and we can help you get started. Usually, but not always, you need a perscription from your doctor for your insurance to pay for therapy.  After we recieve the perscription, we will call you to set up an appointment.

Q. How often can I have therapy in my home?

A. Our therapists will do an initial evaluation to determine your therapy needs and create a therapy plan that you agree to.  Common frequencies for therapy are 2-3 times a week for 2-4 wks, shorter or longer depending on how much therapy you need.

Q. What does it cost to recieve these services?

A. Almost all health insurance plans pay for these services, including Medicare.  If you have Medicare as your primary insurance, they pay 80%, and your Medicare supplimental insurance pays the other 20%.   You may be responsible for a co-pay, co-insurance or deductables.  We do not charge extra for coming to your home for these services.

Q. I don’t have health insurance. Will you accept cash payments?

A. Yes. We do accept cash payments for our services. Please call us for further information regarding your financial situation.

Q. Do you have both male and female therapists?

A. Yes. We have both male and female therapists who are licensed and equally qualified to assist you with your therapy. Most of the time, scheduling will allow us to provide a therapist you prefer.

Q. Do you charge extra for gas or drive time to come to my home?

A. No. We do not charge extra to see you in your home.  We bill your health insurance company for these services.

Q. How far will you travel to provide therapy services?

A.  Our therapists provide therapy to the greater Fargo-West Fargo-Moorhead-Dilworth area.  We will travel out of these areas about 10 miles, and sometimes farther depending on availabliity and scheduling.
